Johnny's story, however, would not be complete without a reference to January of 1997.  This was the event where his home burned to the ground.  An investigation showed faulty wiring.  They literally lost everything, getting out only with the clothes on their backs.  This story is too long for great detail, but what God did in Johnny’s life during those days is too glorious to omit.  Suffice it to say that God brought an inner healing to his life in those days that gave meaning to the Spirit life and anchored intercessory prayer in his heart. Johnny is truly thankful that today he is feeling better physically.  He is grateful for this body and the opportunity to serve the Lord.
