Hey there, thanks for stopping by. My technical name is Phillip Clinton
Sheppard, but I have always been called Clint. My name means lover of
horses, peaceful city, and gatherer of flocks. The ironic thing is, all of
my childhood I was very afraid of horses.
I am married to the very beautiful and extremely talented Lea (Russell)
Sheppard. She is my bride and my joy and my strong support. We have been
married since 2004. We had our first daughter in October of 2007. Elliana
"Elli" Grace Sheppard is more beautiful than I could have imagined. She is
completely sweet and loves to bounce up and down a lot.
Lea and I were both raised at North Monroe since before we were born. We
were friends as kids at this church, as were our parents. We both love this
church as we have seen a lot happen here in the last 20+ years. We are
thankful to be here, serving the church and especially the college students
and young adults.
I feel a strong desire to bring students and young adults to a passionate
relationship with God through Christ, characterized by a consistent
discipleship, and producing fruit for the Kingdom of God. We have a lot of
fun and food in the college ministry, but we are completely dedicated to
becoming men and women pursuing the Lord.
