The greatest way to tell others that you are a follower of Jesus is to be baptized. As a church we understand baptism to be the public proclamation of Christ’s burial and resurrection and our new life in him. We baptize because it follows the example set by Jesus (he was baptized), Christ commanded it, and it demonstrates our genuine belief in the risen Savior, Jesus.
