Joni’s greatest joy is raising her two lively boys, John and Jude. As athletes, country boys and aspiring farmers, she is never at a loss for a full laundry basket or adventurous story. Her husband, Brooks, is a gifted craftsman and local angler. She and her family enjoy life on the farm with their animals and the great outdoors.
As an OCS graduate and LSU alumnus, Joni is a proud native of Northeast Louisiana where she started her career in the corporate world. She is most grateful to be in a position of service where she can fulfill her heart’s desire to serve others. Combining that with her ability to manage projects made the position of Hospitality Coordinator at NMBC a natural fit.
Service to the church was engrained in Joni as a child by her mother being a discipleship and worship leader for their church. After his retirement, her father served as a member of Kingdom Builders for The Lord Organization, and Blue Hat volunteer with LA Baptist Disaster Relief. It’s no surprise she sought a position of such reward.
