		David McCormick Minister of Music and Worship David McCormick and his wife, Shelly, have served churches in Louisiana, Missouri, and Texas.  David graduated from ULM with a BA in Music and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri with a Master’s Degree in Education. David and Shelly have been married for 18 years. Shelly is a local Pediatrician.

 

Blake Davis Associate Minister of Music Originally from west Ouachita Parish, Blake Davis has served in churches of the community from a young age.  Blake graduated from ULM with a Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Technology.  Blake leads worship for the contemporary service on Sunday mornings at 11 AM and for the students on Wednesday nights at 6:45 PM.  Blake and his wife, Kelli, have been married since December of 2006.  Kelli is an occupational therapist.

Sanctuary Choir                      

This is the lead worship team for the 8:30 blended service. No audition is necessary to be a part of this dynamic group. Rehearsals are every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. These are fun, but productive rehearsals. This is also the lead group for seasonal music productions.

Praise Band

An accomplished group of musicians that lead in the Contemporary Service.  The band includes guitars, drums, and keyboard, filling the room with energetic music providing a sound foundation for the vocalists to lift up the name of Jesus.  You have to audition to play in the band.  We also encourage people to sit in and play with us on occasions.

Children’s Choirs

This ministry teaches the foundations of music and ministry of worship.  Children are taught to read and perform both traditional and contemporary music.  Led by music educators with a love for God, a love for God’s music, and a love for God’s children.

We offer choirs for:
Preschoolers
Grades 1-2
Grades 3-4
Grades 5-6
These choirs meet Wednesday nights
from 6:00– 6:50 PM during the school year.
